Manatee Clerk of Court Named President-Elect of Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers

Colonneso will serve as a member of the executive committee, formulate and prepare future programs for implementation and serve as chair of the strategic planning committee, among other roles and responsibilities.

Hon. Angel Colonneso, Manatee County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, has been sworn in as president-elect of the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers (FCCC). Colonneso was officially sworn into office during the FCCC's Leadership Transition Ceremony, which was part of the FCCC Virtual 2020 Summer Conference. Colonneso's new position will allow the Manatee Clerk of Court to support the FCCC’s role and statewide leadership in providing innovative technology, legislative advocacy, education, support to local government and statewide, and to protect the public trust. She will serve as a member of the executive committee, perform the duties of the president in her absence, formulate and prepare future programs for implementation, serve as chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, and serve as vice-chair of the legislative committee, among other roles and responsibilities.
