Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy, Inc. (SMART) is pleased to announce that it has named Rebecca Blitz its new executive director. Blitz previously served as the executive vice president for The Haven; regional director for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida; director of development and marketing for the Diocese of Venice; and director of family and children programs at the Flanzer Jewish Community Center. At SMART, she will be responsible for resource development and executive leadership of the mostly volunteer organization.
