Legacy Donor Gives Boost to The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, Sarasota Orchestra
Both organizations will each receive $114,000 in funding.

The William P. McGrath Fund at Manatee Community Foundation has awarded two $114,000 grants to The Bishop Museum of Science Nature and Sarasota Orchestra to help with evolving needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will provide flexible support for both organizations' programs and operations. McGrath, a former high school teacher, established the William P. McGrath Fund at Manatee Community Foundation to support both organizations in retirement.
