Supervisor of Elections to Make Drop Boxes Available for Vote-by-Mail Return

The drop boxes aim to make returning vote-by-mail ballots more convenient.

Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner has announced the placement of secure vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes inside Sarasota County elections offices and all designated early voting sites, beginning with the March 17 presidential preference primary, to make the return of vote-by-mail ballots more convenient. Voters will be able to return their voted ballots by mail or in person to any one of the three elections offices in Sarasota (Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane), North Port (Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail), and Venice (R.L. Anderson Administration Building, 4000 S. Tamiami Trail), during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., until 7 p.m. on election night). For the March 17 presidential primary, early voting will be available at Sarasota Square Mall, 8201 S. Tamiami Trail, and the North Sarasota Library, 2801 Newtown Blvd, beginning Saturday, March 7 through Saturday, March 14 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily. For more information, contact the supervisor of elections office at (941) 861-8618 or visit SarasotaVotes.com.
