One More Child will break ground on its Sarasota campus on Feb. 17, which will include villas for single moms and children, foster family homes and a children’s center. Palm Garden Healthcare provided the lead gift, and Congressman Vern and Sandy Buchanan made a $1 million donation for the campus' Vern and Sandy Buchanan Children's Center. The total project cost is estimated at $6 million, including a remaining $1.95 million still to be raised to have the campus fully funded.
