Presidential candidate and former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg opened a downtown Sarasota campaign office on Saturday. Located at 325 Central Ave., the Sarasota location is one of several that opened over the weekend in Florida. According to the Bradenton Herald, the office will serve as regional hubs for voters to learn more about Bloomberg's policy positions and participate in campaign activities ahead of the March 17 Florida primary. "The road to the White House goes through Florida," Bloomberg recently told the Miami Herald.
