On Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 9 a.m., Goodwill Manasota will open its Boutique at Cortez, a new space adjacent to its existing Cortez retail store location. The nearly 4,000-square-foot boutique will feature upscale clothing, purses, shoes, jewelry and accessories, as well as select items for the home. To manage its operations, Goodwill will be adding six full-time team members and expects to generate an additional $475,000 in revenue this year. The additional revenue will help fund job training and educational programs and services for those with barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors, those with criminal records or financial impediments to stability, and more. Store hours will be 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. on Sunday.
