U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Southeast Regional Administrator Denise Cleveland-Leggett will speak at The Argus Foundation's annual meeting, which takes place 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Sarasota Yacht Club, 1100 John Ringling Blvd., Sarasota. Appointed by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, Cleveland-Leggett oversees Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $45-$55.
