The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe recently named Debra Flynt-Garrett as the development director for the organization. In the new role Flynt-Garrett will coordinate the organization’s donor stewardship, fundraising events and annual fund events. She will also manage the grant proposal process and provide concierge ticketing services to major donors. The theater recently launched its Heart & Soul Capital Campaign, an effort to raise $6 million to transform the organization’s 2.5-acre, two-building campus at 10th Street and Orange Avenue.
