Sarasota County is proposing changes to mowing service in residential areas within the county's urban service boundary and will host two informational meetings on the changes this week. The first meeting will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the Fruitville Public Library, 100 Coburn Road, Sarasota, and the other will take place 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Venice Community Center, Room A, 326 Nokomis Ave. S., Venice.

The county currently performs periodic mowing maintenance of the rights of way along these residential roadways.
