Sarasota County Names New Assistant Administrator

Jonathan Evans recently accepted a conditional offer to become an assistant county administrator with Sarasota County. Currently the city manager for Haines City, Evans will serve as one of three assistant county administrators for Sarasota County, replacing Lee Ann Lowery, who is scheduled to retire at the end of September. Evans is also an adjunct professor at Polk State College, where he teaches public budgeting and finance, and he holds a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Central Florida, as well as an MBA from Saint Leo University.
