After weeks of turmoil, Sol Meyer NY Delicatessen, located at 1473 Main St., Sarasota, has announced it is rebranding itself as Doc Sam's New York Deli & Gourmet Eatery. The restaurant will celebrate its new name and menu with a ribbon-cutting event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. The restaurant is the brainchild of Dr. Myles Samotin and Managing Partner and Chef Scott Mullen. It will be open 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
