Sarasota County Public Works Director Isaac Brownman has been named county engineer. He will serve in this role as part of his duties as public works director. Brownman has worked for Sarasota County for 16 years, and was appointed public works director in March 2014. He previously served in the Land Development Services Division as an engineering supervisor and manager. Brownman also served as a public infrastructure design manager in capital projects and later as the director of the Capital Projects Division.
