This issue ushers in some big changes for Biz(941). After 10 years of publishing monthly—10 years is a proud accomplishment for a regional business magazine!—we're changing and deepening the way we serve our readers and advertisers.
We know from surveys, feedback and subscription growth that you appreciate our award-winning print magazine, but we've seen a big surge in subscriptions to our Biz(941) Daily e-newsletter and the digital editions of our magazine. Those digital platforms, including our website, are becoming essential parts of what we deliver. And we've been partnering with businesses and nonprofits to bring you events that connect you with experts—and each other. For example, our recent Unity Awards—a celebration of diversity—brought together 300 people whose paths rarely intersect, resulting in new relationships and opportunities.
For these reasons, we're launching a multi-platform strategy. Our print magazine will move to a six-time-a-year schedule, and we'll be expanding our digital offerings. We'll also be creating more signature business events that enhance our print and digital content and spark creative conversations and new connections.
