This striking briefcase made of leather, suede and aluminum debuted at the autumn session of Maison & Objet in Paris. The cowhide is American but it is natural tannin, finished in Japan for the manufacturer, which provides leather products to luxury brands, including Lexus. The briefcase is part of the Akaoni "Sikaku" line created by Australian designer Karl Baxter for Lamark Inc. of Japan.
