Publix, the first tenant at Crescent B Commons in Babcock Ranch, is now open, with other retail stores slated to open within the next few months. They include BurgerFi, Pi Pizza, BR Animal Hospital, Pack N Ship, M’Xuma Tacos, The Royal Paw Groomer, U Yee Sushi and more, with more national retailers to be announced soon, according to Katz & Associates' Jon Cashion and Eric Spritz, who are helping lease available space.

Babcock Ranch has ultimately planned for 19,500 residential units and 6 million square feet of commercial space. It is the first solar-powered city in the United States.
