The coronavirus pandemic has caused Lakewood Ranch to refashion its annual Tour of Homes, this year taking place Nov. 6-22, into what’s being marketed as Ranch Road Home.

Nearly 100 model homes by more than 20 builders will be open for touring in 21 Lakewood Ranch’s villages, including the new communities of Esplanade at Azario, Lorraine Lakes, Sapphire Point, Solera and Windward.

Interested tour-goers also will be able to view these homes at a social distance and see an interactive map on the Lakewood Ranch Facebook page, or live chat with a community representative at lakewoodranch.com/.  Virtual overview appointments can be made at the Lakewood Ranch Information Center.

Lakewood Ranch this summer once again was named the best-selling multigenerational community in the U.S. by national real estate consulting firm RCLCO, with 838 new home sales through the end of June 2020, besting last year’s numbers by 2 percent.
