River Wilderness, a master-planned golf course community on the Manatee River in north Manatee County, is the site of the highest-ever single-family residential sale in the history of Parrish.

The 5,000-plus-square-foot residence at 11805 Rive Isle Run sold this week for $2,125,000. The four-bedroom, four-bath home, with two media/game rooms and a den, sits on three-quarters of an acre on the Manatee River.

Jason Skowronski of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty was the listing agent; Louis Peters of Veterans 1st Choice Real Estate Group represented the buyers. It originally had been listed for sale at $2,499,999 in November 2019.

With several master-planned communities now in development, Parrish is a rapidly growing region. “I think it’s just further proof that our interest in Manatee County is expanding and growing,” Skowronski said in a press release. “Ten years ago, Parrish didn’t show up on most people’s radar, and now it’s just a nearby extension of Lakewood Ranch with the new connection of the Fort Hamer bridge.”
