Sales of single-family homes in Florida totaled 27,850 in May, up 7.6 percent from May 2016, according to new data released by Florida Realtors. The median sales price for single-family homes also increased from last May, by 7.7 percent, up to $239,000. The statewide median price for townhouse and condo properties was $178,000, up 8.1 percent over last May.
