The luxury real estate market is alive and thriving in Sarasota, as evidenced by these two recent mega-deals.
After just 45 days on the market, a Harbor Acres bayfront estate at 1204 Hillview Drive sold in late January for $7.05 million. The five-bedroom home, designed by architect Clifford M. Scholz and built in 2008, has more than 7,600 square feet of luxurious living space, plus a heated pool, three-car garage and dock with boat and jet ski lifts. The initial list price was $7.75 million. Marcia Salkin was the listing agent and Stephanie Church was the selling agent; both are with Michael Saunders & Company.
And a Gulf-front mansion at 3331 Gulf of Mexico Drive on Longboat Key sold for $6.2 million after being on the market for just three months. The 5,264-square-foot home, built in 2011, has expansive terraces from which to enjoy widespread Gulf views. The garage accommodates six cars. Tom Delaney of Michael Saunders & Company was the listing agent; Bruce Myer of Coldwell Banker was the selling agent.
