Sarasota-based Jamaicaloft, LLC has purchased office space at 4123 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, for $380,000. The new owners have announced plans to revitalize the property and lease it. Ken Hoskinson Jr. of Hembree & Associates, Inc. (hembreeco.com) represented the sellers, SRQ Holdings I, LLC and SRQ Holdings II, LLC. Rudi Weiss of Charity & Weiss International Realty (realtyinsarasota.com) represented the buyer.
Benderson Development (benderson.com) has purchased the parking lots of two Sarasota Target stores, paying $1.3 million for the parking lot of the University Town Center Target and $1.2 million for the lot outside the Fruitville Road Target. Benderson plans to add two 2,500-square-foot restaurants and 5,000 square feet of retail space at the Fruitville property.
