Good News Friday: Big Deals - Sept. 18, 2015
New York-based Beachwold Residential purchased the 200-unit Solana Vista Apartments in Bradenton from Solana Vista Apartments for $22 million.
Sarasota Doctors Hospital purchased the 120,ooo-square-foot Sarasota Medical Centre, located on the campus of Sarasota Doctors Hospital at 5741 Bee Ridge Road, from HR of Sarasota, Ltd. CNK Realty originally worked with the owner, and Duane Henderson of Wagner Realty represented another investment company who executed a contract to acquire the property. Since the land was under a groudn lease to the owner, Sarasota Doctors Hospital maintained a right of first refusal to purchase the property, which they exercised. Ken Hughes, president of CNK Realty, declined to divulge the sale price, other than to say, “it was an undisclosed amount over $16 million.”
A 5,000-square-foot beachfront estate at 8306 Sanderling Road in Siesta Key’s Sanderling Club sold for $6.275 million this week, making it Sarasota’s third largest residential sale to date in 2015. Stephanie Church of Michael Saunders represented the seller; Linda Weber of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.
7037 TMP Holdings, LLC purchased an 832-square-foot office condo at 7037 S. Tamiami Trail, Unit D, in Sarasota for $95,000. The transaction was handled by Linda Emery with the downtown Sarasota office of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group.
