Good News Friday: Big Deals - May 22, 2015

The Sarasota Memorial Health Care System purchased the 5,476-square-foot St. Armands Medical Center for $3.5 million. SMH plans to demolish the old building to construct a new urgent care facility, scheduled to open by the end of the year.

 


 

Real estate investor Jeff Berlin purchased three storefronts and an office building, approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space, in Siesta Key Village from Dennis McGillicuddy for $4.6 million.

 


 

Aldi(Florida), LLC purchased four one-acre lots at the northeast corner of S.R. 70 and E. 45th Street in Bradenton from Route 70 Holdings for $1.75 million. Aldi will erect a grocery at the site. Joe C. Hembree & Ken Hoskinson Jr. of Hembree & Associates, Inc. represented the sellers.

 


 

David and Robin Brown purchased a four-unit apartment building at 5231 Avenida Navarra in Siesta Key from MAB Enterprises LLC for $800,000.
