Insula Companies – a Sarasota-based firm specializing in apartment community acquisition and revitalization on behalf of investors – sold 30 West Apartments in Bradenton to a private investor for $25 million. Insula had purchased the property at 2835 50th Ave. W. in Bradenton out of foreclosure in 2013 for $14.28 million and spent an additional $1.4 million enhancing the apartment community.

 


 

Carter Validus Properties LLC purchased approximately 10,700 square feet of medical office space at 6310 Health Park Way in Lakewood Ranch from Theriac Enterprises of Bradenton LLC for $10.2 million.

 


 

Derald and Cynthia Bontrager purchased the 2,500-square-foot Casarina Condominiums at 5880 Midnight Pass Road in Siesta Key from DeFeo Holdings LLC for $2.8 million.

 


 

Bandhan, LLC purchased a 4,700-square-foot neighborhood shopping center at 21320-21360 Gertrude Ave. in Port Charlotte from 500 Fordham Group, LLC for $615,000. Nick DeVito II and Joanna Ginder Ashley of Ian Black Real Estate handled the transaction.

 


 

GND-Ohara, LLC by its managing member, Dr. Gerard Curtis, purchased a 3,840-square-foot medical office condo at 6130 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota from 6128 South Trail Corp. for $415,000. Ian Black, Steve Horn, and Melissa Harris of Ian Black Real Estate and Lee DeLieto Jr. of Michael Saunders & Co. handled the transaction. The property is a former Sarasota Memorial walk-in clinic and Dr. Curtis plans to open this new office under the name Gulf Gate Urology.
