An affiliate of Beneficial Communities purchased nine acres of multifamily development land located at 50 Paramount Drive in Sarasota, the former Arthur Anderson Parkway, from Iberia Bank for $1.9 million. The site is planned for 282 rental apartments. Mike Migone and Clint Conway, both with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group, handled the transaction.
The bayfront home at 640 Rountree Drive on Longboat Key sold for $3.45 million, making it the highest priced single-family home to sell on Longboat thus far in 2014. Maureen Horn of the Longboat Key office of Michael Saunders & Company listed the property; Christine Del Monte of the firm’s Siesta Key office sold it.
Southwest Florida real estate investor Michael S. Holderness and Siesta Beachside Bungalows LLC purchased two motel buildings at 94 Columbus Blvd. on Siesta Key from Ocean Blvd. LLC for a total of $2.35 million.
