Update: Software entrepreneur Jesse Biter acquired a 5,484-square-foot building on a 0.24-acre lot at 1401 Second St. in Sarasota for $850,000 from CRA Holding LLC. This property, along with the $2.8 million, 13,881-square-foot United Way building Biter purchased last summer, will be used to develop an apartment complex downtown. The transaction was handled by Steve Horn of Ian Black Real Estate.
