Intercoastal Medical Group has moved into its new, 25,400-square-foot medical office building, located at 11505 Rangeland Parkway, Lakewood Ranch. The group moved into the new space earlier than expected and opened for patients on Monday, Dec. 30. The facility houses offices and exam rooms for more than a dozen physicians in eight specialties. Installation of new diagnostic and imaging equipment is scheduled for early summer. This is the seventh location for Intercoastal Medical, which has more than 70 physicians in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Discovery Village at Sarasota Bay LLC has purchased more than 11 acres of vacant land at 1406 69th Ave. W., Bradenton, from Gulfside Homes-Bowlees Creek LLP for $2.4 million. Discovery Village is part of Discovery Management Group, a Bonita Springs-based network of senior housing companies which also includes Discovery Realty Group and Aston Gardens.

Bill’s Good Time Bar & Grill has leased 2,450 square feet at the Shops at Silverleaf, 11245 U.S. 301, Parrish. The center is anchored by a Publix shopping center. Additional merchants include Verizon Wireless, Fantastic Sam’s, Michelangelo’s Pizza and Manatee Diagnostics. Tracy Worrell, an associate with Crossman & Company, managed the transaction.

The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance has announced plans to relocate their headquarters to the new MGA building, 8430 Enterprise Circle, just off University Parkway. In his farewell address as the 2013 chair, Tommy Klauber announced that the group plans to occupy the new space in the first quarter of 2014.
