Clairebear Properties LLC, registered to Jason and Claire Speir, has purchased the property of the former Bradenton Prep Academy, 7900 40th Ave. W., from GTE Federal Credit Union for $3.6 million. The 42,887-square-foot property, which was placed under foreclosure more than three years ago, is the new home of Inspiration Academy, a Christian preparatory high school accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council of Accreditation and School Improvement. The sale closed prior to the launch of the school in September.

Rainbow Lakes Land Trust has purchased the 27,903-square-foot Rainbow Lakes Apartments, located on 57th Avenue West in Bradenton, from Haney Developers Inc. for $2 million. Leasing for the 29-unit community is managed by Walter Realty.
