Evan Beese - Before: College casual; After: Ready for work.Evan Beese, a senior at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, is looking forward to December graduation and a career in the hospitality industry. He’s ready to shed the student look and start the job interview process with style.

Evan’s goal: “Even though I have a lot of qualifications that show I’m dedicated, intelligent and reliable, I feel I have been overlooked based on my appearance. I want to look more professional.”

Jackie’s approach:“Aside from taking care of your guests, the hospitality industry is about image, professionalism and the details. I wanted Evan’s appearance to reflect that. I selected a modern, slim-cut suit with great details that would become a staple in his wardrobe for any occasion. This suit has a very light pinstripe and a great stitch detail on the pockets and lapel. I chose a blue shirt instead of traditional white to add depth and color, then added the plaid tie to keep the suit young and fresh. To complete the look, I chose a slim leather belt with a simple buckle and a comfortable yet stylish pair of shoes for those long days.”

Evan’s take: “I really liked the suit and how it fit. The suit, shirt and tie all went well together, and with the haircut it was quite a change from my former look. I have gotten a lot of compliments since the makeover.”
