A new restaurant will open at University Town Center this Sunday, April 2. Yard House, which is part of Orlando-based Darden Restaurants, will have extensive beer-on-tap offerings as well as bar food like burgers, nachos, onion rings and more.

The Sarasota location is the chain's 87th installment of the concept, which was founded in Long Beach, California, in 1996. Guests can expect views of hundreds of steel barrels in a glass-enclosed keg room that flow to the bar through a network of beer lines positioned overhead.

The restaurant will also feature a weekday happy hour menu from 3-6 p.m. with half-priced appetizers and $1-$4 off beer, wine and cocktails.
