Delicious traditional Jewish food is a mainstay of the annual Sarasota Jewish Food Festival.

Temple Sinaiโ€™s Sarasota Jewish Food Festival returns this year on Sunday, Jan. 29. Temple members who tout themselves as chefs and bakers will prepare a wide variety of Jewish food, including bagels, kugel, knishes and more.

โ€œSince we were not able to hold the food festival during the pandemic, we are especially excited to welcome the community back to celebrate great Jewish food and culture,โ€ says Andrea Eiffert, Temple Sinai's director of communications and programming, said in a press release.

In addition to savory goodies, baked goods like challah, cakes and other pastries will be available for guests to enjoy. There will also be family-friendly activities, like face painting and a bounce house for the kids, as well as crafts, jewelry and art for sale.

Admission to the event is free; tickets will be sold for any food purchases.

The Sarasota Jewish Food Festival will take place on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Temple Sinai on 4631 S. Lockwood Ridge Road. For more information call (941) 924-1802 or visit their website.
