Beloved Burns Court coffee shop Project (formerly Project Coffee) is opening its second location tomorrow, Dec. 17, in the Rosemary District. Fans of the Burns Court spot can expect the same great coffee, which Project is now roasting on-site at its new location, as well as a more rounded menu filled with delicious vegan fare.

What you won’t find is the Impossible egg biscuit—but fear not, it will continue to be available at Project's Burns Court location. However, guests can expect luxurious baked goods as well as savory breakfast dishes while soaking in the sunlight from the front windows of the historic building, which was built in 1917.

“I love coffee, but I’m also focused on what you feel when you come into a space. We want you to have an enveloping experience,” says co-owner Ian Steger.

Project's house-roasted beans will also be available for purchase.

And when you can’t find time to frequent one of Project’s locations, you can enjoy their signature coffee at home, as the shops will also start selling 12-ounce bags of their roasted beans starting tomorrow ($22).

Project’s Rosemary District location will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday at 1419 Fifth St., Sarasota. For more information visit the shop's website.
