Hamlet's Eatery, the fun food truck that sets up at Sarasota's Bazaar on Apricot & Lime, has a new chef: Lisa Shields. Shields worked in the food world in Seattle and operated a food truck in Virginia before relocating to Sarasota in 2019.

Since opening in 2020, Hamlet's has been a fixture at the Bazaar, serving food Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with occasional Sunday brunch offerings, as well. The truck specializes in sliders, sandwiches, hot dogs and the like, with a number of vegetarian options. One of Shields' priorities is to expand its selection of healthy items.

Hamlet's Eatery sets up at The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime, 821 Apricot Ave., Sarasota, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. For more info, visit the truck's website.
