DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go, which is opening on St. Armands Circle early next year, is far from your typical red-sauce joint. Instead of setting out Chianti bottles plugged with dripping candles and covering tables with red-checked cloths, the restaurant is offering a high-tech, fast-casual approach to pasta, with items prepared in minutes and offered in to-go boxes and through third-party delivery services.

The first DalMoros opened in Venice, Italy, in 2012, and now has locations around Italy and Canada. The first U.S. location opened in St. Petersburg earlier this year.

Ordering is simple: You just pick a shape of freshly made pasta, select a sauce like bolognese or cacio e pepe, and then pack on some extra toppings, if you like. The restaurant also offers tiramisù, beer and wine and more.

"We are very excited to open our second location," DalMoros franchisee David Caruso said in a press release. "We learned a lot from our first opening and the first few months of operations in downtown St. Pete, and we are going to take those learnings and apply them to our new location. St. Armands Circle is a very popular tourist attraction, bringing in people from all over the world, and it gives us a great opportunity for even more people to be exposed to our yummy food and fresh pasta to go concept."

The new DalMoros will be located at 309 John Ringling Blvd., St. Armands Circle, Sarasota. For more info, visit the restaurant's website.
