New Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch Spot Coming to South Sarasota

People who live near The Landings will soon have another destination for a wakeup meal. The Lily Café, a new restaurant from the owner of Jane's Café on 3rd in Naples, is set to open in June next to the Publix in The Landings.

The Lily Café will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch, with dishes like eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast, and will be open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.
The restaurant is owned by George Wood and is one of three ventures Wood is in the midst of opening in the Sarasota area. Wood is also behind Georgie's Garden Café, which was announced in 2019 but has not yet opened. It is set to debut near the University Town Center mall later this year.
Like The Lily Café, Georgie's will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch, along with coffee and cocktails. Attached to Georgie's will be Bar George, which will serve drinks and a limited menu and stay open later than Georgie's. The bar will also host live music.
Construction is currently underway on all three projects.
