Here are some restaurants and grocery stores offering both traditional and creative Seder meals.

Matzo ball soup is a staple of Passover meals.

Passover begins Saturday, March 27, and continues through Sunday, April 4. Here are a handful local options for some favorite holiday foods:

Michael's on East

Passover dinner from Michael's on East can be picked up from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 27. Enjoy a choice of entrées like roasted chicken, braised and sliced brisket or Mediterranean stuffed cabbage rolls. Kosher-style menu items include chicken soup with matzo balls, potato latkes with cinnamon sauce, oven-roasted Brussels sprouts with honey mustard, a white fish spread, chopped chicken liver, apple walnut charoset, braised lamb shanks, matzo kugel and more. Visit the store's center island for smoked salmon, white fish and sable, or desserts from the bakery. A 48-hour notice is required on all menu items; visit the market or call to place your order.

The Bistro at Sarasota Art Museum is offering a Passover special this weekend. Gourmet menu items include a kosher red sangria spritz, truffled deviled eggs, passover pancakes with pomegranate, toasted walnuts and whipped cream, and a roast beef sandwich with truffled lemon aioli, gruyére and arugula on a toasted baguette. Regular menu items will also be available.
