The Sarasota-Manatee Originals, a coalition of more than 60 local, independent restaurants, is jumping into the clothing business, with four new apparel designs that can be printed on T-Shirts and tank tops. The products will only be on sale through Wednesday, Dec. 2, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to benefit the Originals.

The designs include slogans like "Eat Sip Support Local," "Be Original" and "Eat Like a Local," and can be printed on a variety of short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, as well as tank tops, and in a variety of colors. They cost $21-$25, plus shipping. Check out the looks online.

"Our goal is to raise awareness, as well as some marketing dollars, for these fantastic restaurateurs who put their hearts and souls into this industry and are the backbone of their communities," said Originals executive director Sarah Firstenberger, according to a press release.
