It's been too long

Sage's mojo pork chop, part of the restaurant's new fall menu.

As it has been for many restaurants, 2020 has been tough on Sage. The swanky downtown Sarasota restaurant has closed and reopened a couple times already because of the Covid-19 pandemic. But, starting next week, the restaurant will hopefully be open for good. Sage will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

The move coincides with the launch of a new fall menu. Appetizer selections will include brûléed bone marrow, a spicy pumpkin soup and foie gras dumplings, while main dishes will include a mojo-flavored pork chop, braised short ribs and the restaurant's popular Thai bouillabaisse. The rooftop bar, for now, is closed for renovations, but the interior dining rooms and the restaurant's outdoor patio space will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
