Already this year, Origin Craft Beer + Pizza Café has expanded to south Sarasota, with a second location on Clark Road. (The first Origin opened on Hillview Street in 2016.) Now the restaurant is moving ahead with a third location, this one near the University Town Center mall.

The new restaurant will be located at 8193 Tourist Center Drive, Bradenton, in the same strip as a CROP juice shop and Scullers Draft House. No opening date has been announced, but it is expected to open this winter.

Origin is well liked for both its basic pies and its more adventurous selections. Its specialty pizzas include ingredients as wide-ranging as falafel and hummus; eggs, feta and sausage; and even mullet roe.
