If you're looking for a place to stock up on high-quality sweets to share with family over the holidays (or just devour on your own), we've got a recommendation. Norman Love Confections, a new shop that specializes in premium chocolates and other goodies, opens near the University Town Center mall on Tuesday.

Norman Love founded the company in Fort Myers in 2001 after working as corporate executive pastry chef for The Ritz-Carlton. His renowned sweets can be found at a handful of chocolate and dessert salons in Southwest Florida and in a handful of other stores and hotels. Love makes many flavored truffles, caramels, chocolate bars, cookies, croissants and other pastries, gift baskets, holiday-themed treats and even gelato.
