Next year's Forks & Corks is still on, but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual food and wine festival won't take place during its usual time, in January. The Sarasota-Manatee Originals, the coalition of local, independent restaurants that puts on the event, announced Monday that the 2021 Forks & Corks will take place April 29-May 3 instead.

Details of how next year's festival might function have not been determined. "Although we are unsure at this time what the the exact schedule of events will look like, we are confident that we will be able to bring the long-awaited Forks & Corks to the community through a variety of safe in-person and virtual events in late spring," the Originals stated in a press release.

The organization recommends joining the event on Facebook to receive updates about next year's festivities. You can do that here.
