The Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy, set to open this fall, recently hired Jason Patterson as its executive chef. The hotel will contain 150 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, a spa and a pool, plus more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Patterson will design the hotel and restaurant menus and oversee all culinary operations, including banquet and meeting offerings. He has spent the last decade in a variety of roles at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, most recently as general manager at the casino’s Fresh Harvest Market Place restaurant.
