Miss hanging out in the taproom and chatting about beer with your friends? Sarasota's Calusa Brewing, which has been forced to close its tasting room because of the COVID-19 pandemic, has begun offering a regular virtual hang session on Facebook each week.

During the streams, Calusa's beer experts sample bottles from around the country, chat with fans and answer questions. Last week's stream drew more than 1,000 views. The next stream kicks off at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. And while Calusa's taproom may be closed, the shop continues to sell cans and even kegs of beer to take home, and you can grab takeout from food trucks set up at the brewery.
