The Ringling, Florida’s official State Art Museum and part of Florida State University, is the largest university-affiliated art museum in North America—a hub for arts, history, and lifelong learning.
The Museum of Art spans antiquity to today, with strengths in Renaissance, Baroque, Asian, and contemporary art, plus photography and studio glass. The experience extends to Ca’ d’Zan, the Ringlings’ 1920s bayfront estate, the Circus Museum, and a playground set within 66 acres of gardens.
Donors and members keep this vision alive, funding educational programs and world-class exhibitions that bring global artists to Sarasota. Supporters enjoy curator talks, expert tours, and artist conversations—becoming part of Sarasota’s cultural heritage and its future.
