The Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation enriches lives and strengthens the community through the power of the arts. In partnership with the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Foundation serves more than 40,000 students, educators, families, and community members each year through arts education, family engagement, and arts and wellness programs.
Offerings range from Schooltime Performances introducing children to live theater, to research-informed wellness experiences, classroom residencies with teaching artists, family learning opportunities, and professional development for educators.
Looking ahead, the Foundation is partnering with the City of Sarasota to build a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center—a resilient, inclusive cultural destination that will expand access to world-class performances and experiences that inspire, connect, and enrich the region.
