Every time a cat finds a loving home, a frightened kitten receives lifesaving medical care or a family receives the support needed to keep a beloved pet, it is because a compassionate community made it possible. Cat Depot is Sarasota’s only nonprofit dedicated exclusively to cats and kittens, providing rescue, adoption, affordable veterinary care, foster services and community outreach.

Each year, the organization rescues more than 1,300 cats and kittens, provides affordable veterinary care to more than 3,000 pet cats and helps families keep 1,500 cats fed every month through its Food Bank. Every cat receives individualized care, every adopter receives personal guidance and every client is treated with compassion and respect. By creating lifelong connections between cats and the people who love them, Cat Depot strengthens families, transforms lives and builds a more compassionate community.
