Founded in 1926 as Sarasota’s first arts organization, Art Center Sarasota has been a cornerstone of the region’s cultural life for 100 years, providing a space where creativity, connection, and community thrive. 

Established by visionary educators and artists, it began as a gathering place for local creators to share their work and for residents to experience the power of the arts.
