As the official State Art Museum of Florida and part of Florida State University, The Ringling stands as the largest university-affiliated art museum in North America. It serves as a dynamic hub for the arts, history, and lifelong learning. From world-class collections to immersive experiences, The Ringling brings history and contemporary culture to life—offering a place of wonder, inspiration, and reflection.
The museum’s collections are expansive and richly varied. The Museum of Art features works from antiquity to today, with particular strengths in Renaissance, Baroque, Asian, and contemporary art, as well as photography, studio glass, and ancient artifacts. The Ringling experience also includes Ca’ d’Zan—John and Mable Ringling’s dazzling 1920s estate—a vibrant Circus Museum, and a whimsical playground nestled within 66 acres of bayfront gardens.
