Sunshine from Darkness, a subsidiary of the Lee and Bob Peterson Foundation, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to championing mental health wellness through transformative programming, education, collaboration, and advocacy.

Committed to fostering lasting change, their resiliency initiatives focus on empowering youth and families, providing critical lessons in emotional literacy, mental health awareness, and equipping participants with resilient coping strategies.

• Their Youth Resiliency Program equips young minds with resilient coping strategies for life’s challenges.
• They will reach over 70 youth in 2025, as well as teachers and staff.
• The Step Into the Light Mental Health Summit provides education on mental health wellness and various mental health topics to over 250 attendees.
