Save Our Seabirds is a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick and injured wild birds. With breeding bird populations declining, every bird saved helps protect Sarasota’s delicate coastal ecosystem. 

As the only local resource operating an avian hospital for wild birds, the organization relies on community support. Thanks to donors, Save Our Seabirds provides lifesaving treatment, compassionate daily care, and opportunities to build a culture of stewardship for Florida’s wild places.

• Over 1,200 wild birds are treated annually in their on-site Avian Hospital.
• Approximately 100 resident birds can be visited on their public Bird Walk (free daily admission).
• Save Our Seabirds offers education programs designed to inspire local conservation.
